DEEP IMPACT JPL Deep Impact web site

These are photos taken by fellow NASA-JPL Ambassador Robert Gass when we were in
Cape Canaveral Air Force Base for the launch. The first was up close to the rocket
the morning of launch while we were watching the gantry roll-back.
The rest are the launch... We were watching as close as you can get - standing
beside the original Mission Control blockhouse where the Mercury missions were done.
Deep Impact will blow a football-stadium-size hole in comet Tempel-1 this July.
