(Above) The legendary Nurburgring road-course track, Germany. Just a little piece of it,
as the whole thing is over 14 miles PER LAP with about 150 turns. THIS is a "road-course" track.
THIS kind of track is what I build my cars to perform on. There are similar tracks in the USA,
such as Virginia International Raceway (below).
Road-course tracks are by far
the most technically interesting
and challenging tracks to prepare for.
Agility and balance are more important
than sheer power. The suspension, brakes,
aerodynamics, and a myriad of
other details must be developed
technically in balance with the engine.
Aerospace engineering lends itself
very nicely to these endeavors.
